Ryan McDevitt is the CEO of Benchmark Space Systems, a small satellite chemical propulsion company based in Burlington, VT. Prior to co-founding Benchmark Space, he was a Ph.D. student at the University of Vermont, where he co-invented technologies that would be incorporated in Benchmark’s first propulsion products.

With over 25 years in design, and advertising, Christine’s experience includes management positions at Grey Advertising in New York City, and State Street Corporation in Boston. She has a B.S. in business administration from the University of New Hampshire.

Nick Cheney is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Vermont, where he directs the UVM Neurobotics Lab and is a core faculty in the Vermont Center for Complex Systems and Data Science. Nick's research interests span many subfields of machine learning, but he is particularly fascinated by systems that learn how to learn.

Joshua Sherman is the President of Old Mill Road Media and founder of Old Mill Road Recording (Publisher of Vermont Magazine). Trained in both the arts and sciences, Joshua is also a practicing M.D., currently working on a national public health campaign to make a difference in the opioid epidemic - through music and media.

Stuart Paton, Founder and Artistic Director of Burlington Taiko spent most of his childhood in Japan, from age nine months through eighteen years. His earliest exposure to taiko included a first-grade fascination with the drums at an Obon celebration in Tokyo, and learning "Matsuri Daiko" from the composer.

Andrew has created a number of feature and short films including the thriller Night Sweats with his production company Witness Films. He currently works at the in-house video production agency for JPMorgan Chase. He brings a bit of Vermont, where he grew up, into everything he makes.
